After earning his bachelor of science in accounting from Indiana University, Dan Klausner went on to become senior vice president at UBS in Indianapolis. Today Dan Klausner is a co-owner of Carmel Total Fitness, which he acquired in 2006 with Scott Visser.
Carmel Total Fitness is planning an expansion to the west side of its building to accommodate the Carmel Swim Club and Indy Spine and Rehab. CTF’s gym also will be enhanced.
The expansion includes a training pool for the Carmel Swim Club, which is expected to be ready by November 2020. The new pool will be a huge benefit for the club, which expects increased interest in swimming following the Tokyo 2020 summer Olympics, and hopes to create an outreach program to help people learn how to swim. A chiropractic physician at Indy Spine and Rehab, Dr. Bran Watters, noted that his group has been working closely with Carmel Total Fitness and Carmel Swim Club. He added that the Indy Spine and Rehab plan would increase its number of physicians in 2020.
