An experienced professional in the financial industry, Dan Klausner is a managing member of the Silver Birch Companies located in Carmel, Indianapolis. Previously, Dan Klausner worked as an institutional fixed-income salesman responsible for billions of dollars in initial public offerings (IPOs).

An IPO happens when a private corporation offers its shares to public investors in a new stock issuance. This allows regular stock market investors to buy the shares of a formerly private-held company, which raises capital for the company while providing the public with an opportunity to profit.

In addition to the potential for significant growth due to the increase of capital, IPOs also help publicly traded companies to use their stock shares when merging and acquiring other businesses. The money raised through the IPOs can also be used for marketing, development, research, or for any other investments that will help them to keep growing and making more money.

GolfDigest Names Top 5 Golf Courses in Indiana

A managing member with Silver Birch Companies in Carmel, north of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dan Klausner spent nearly 20 years as a Wall Street investment professional. At Silver Birch Companies, he has presided over more than one million square feet in real estate transactions, including the sale of Maaguzi and Government Payment Services. Beyond his professional activities, Dan Klausner is also an avid golfer.

GolfDigest recently named the top golf course in every state for the 2019-2020 seasons. Victoria National Golf Course in Newburgh remained the top course in the state of Indiana, followed by Crooked Stick Golf Course in Carmel, the Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort, and Fort Wayne’s Sycamore Hills Golf Course. The only newcomer to the top 5 compared to the 2017-2018 rankings was the Donald Ross Course, also at French Lick, which moved up from No. 6. The list featured two new courses, the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette at No. 11 and Notre Dame’s Warren Golf Course at No. 13.

The Victoria National Golf Club was designed by Tom Fazio in 1998. Named the Best New Private Course for 1999, it has been described as Fazio’s finest work and one of the most naturally designed, aesthetically pleasing courses in the nation. Meanwhile is a Pete Dye-designed course, which hosted the 1991 PGA Championship, in 1967.
